How to reach Pisa
By Air
Pisa Airport "Galileo Galilei" is the main destination in Tuscany.

The airport is just 5 minutes far from the centre of the town by taxi or by Bus (Bus stop located 500m outside the airport exit)
PisaMover train service connects Pisa Central Station and Pisa G. Galilei Airport. PisaMover runs every 10 minutes and operates every day from 6.00 a.m. to 24.00. p.m., including Sunday and Bank holidays. The journey time is just 8 minutes. By Train
Pisa is very well connected to Florence and is on the main line Rome-Genova. The city also serves Viareggio, Livorno, Pistoia, and Lucca. For more information and train timetable visit the Trenitalia website.
By Car
Pisa is near the intersection of two highways: A12 north-south (Sestri Levante - Livorno) and A11 east-west (Pisa - Florence). Alternatives include the SS67 to Florence, and the SS1 (Via Aurelia) which connect Rome to La Spezia.
Transport in Pisa city centre
The bus service is operated by CPT (website in Italian, only) with LAMrossa line (red line) from the airport to the city centre and the Cathedral.
The city also offers efficient car parks served then by city shuttles to the main top sights.
