I will discuss the uncertainties in nuclear physics related to astronomical observables. In particular, I will highlight the X-ray burst light curve, the cosmological lithium problem, putativeannihilation lines from novae, galactic 26Al, as well as the mass cut regarding 44Ti. Every experimental
topic will be linked clearly with nuclear physics measurements
ascertained at accelerator facilities including CRIB at RIKEN, NSCL,
ISOLDE, TUNL, and others. I will focus on how experimental challenges
can be overcome with clever designs, in order to attack the most
prominentastrophysical challenges.
