Description
The Electron Ion Collider (EIC), which will be built in the US during next decade, is proposed as a facility to probe the fundamental structure of matter trough lepton scattering with unprecedented luminosity from nucleon and nuclei. The broad EIC physics program spans from the nucleon tomography to the hadronization in dense nuclear matter. In this seminar I'll review the opportunities for a spectroscopy program at the EIC. In particular, we discuss the relevance for heavy (exotic) quarkonium spectroscopy.
