Villa Lysis, also known as Villa Fersen, is a detached residence in a wonderful garden surrounded by climbing plants and cypresses, not far from the ruins of Villa Jovis, and with a great panorama. The walk to Villa Lysis takes about three quarters of an hour (about 2km) uphill, so comfortable shoes are advised.
The Casa Rossa (the Red House) in Anacapri is home to the "L'Isola Dipinta" art collection owned by the town. The collection comprises 31 paintings from the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The Casa Rossa is also home to 3 Roman statues that were found at the bottom of the Grotta Azzurra in 1964.
Villa San Michele at Anacapri
It is a museum surrounded by unusually beautiful garden, which is also a Swedish cultural Institution.
Monte Solaro Cableway
An impressive limestone formation and the highest point on Capri (1,932 feet), Monte Solaro affords gasp-inducing views toward the bays of Naples and Salerno. A 12-minute chairlift ride will take you right to the top, which is a starting point for a number of scenic trails on the western side of the island, most particularly down the slope to the lovely area around Santa Maria a Cetrella.
