Description
The Standard Model has proven to be an extremely solid theory with excellent experimental agreement, although several aspects of particle physics are still not fully understood. In the absence of unambiguous experimental evidences of new physics, accurate theoretical predictions acquire more and more importance to investigate new possible scenarios, and virtual corrections are a fundamental ingredient. The framework of differential equations represents a versatile and powerful tool to evaluate multiloop Feynman diagrams.
I will present the fundamental concepts and techniques of the field together with some recent developments, showing their application to the evaluation of the mixed QCD-EW corrections to Higgs gluon fusion up to Next-to-Leading Order.
