A new TRacking Array for light Charged particle Ejectiles (TRACE) is being developed for direct nuclear reactions at LNL. TRACE is designed to work in tight combination with a gamma array and it was already combined with the AGATA demonstrator to discriminate the reaction channel and provide information for the Doppler correction of the gamma-ray energy. In this seminar we are going to show the in-beam performance of TRACE obtained in several experiments in terms of particle identification.
