Description
BESIII is a universal detector running at the double-ring Beijing Electron-Positron Collider (BEPCII), aiming at tau-charm physics.
The time of flight detector (TOF) and dE/dx are the two main subsystems for particle identification. In this report software about dE/dx and about simulation of the new endcap TOF are introduced. Moreover, with the BESIII data taken at the the psi(3770) peak (DDbar threshold production),a partial wave analysis (PWA) of the semi-leptonic decay D+->K-pi+e+nu_e is performed, where the the form factors in the D->K*(892) e nu process, the KPi structure, and the KPi S-wave phase are investigated. These measurements can compare with previous experiments and theoretical calculations, and provide important information for understanding the Standard Model.
