Description
Abstract: The first discovered scalar hair of black holes was found in the Skyrme model, hinting at a loop hole in the weak no-hair conjecture for the Kerr-Newman family of black holes. We begin by considering Schwarzschild black holes with a special subsector of the Skyrme-type models and find that no hair is exists in the integrable submodel. Turning to a more generic model, which ruins integrability, still does not allow for Skyrme-type hair unless the Skyrme term (fourth-order derivative) term is present. I will also discuss some gravitating analytical solutions found along the way.
