How to reach Pisa
By Air
Pisa Airport "Galileo Galilei" is the main destination in Tuscany.
The airport is just 5 minutes far from the city centre by:
- taxi;
- PisaMover connects Pisa Central Station and Pisa G. Galilei Airport. The service runs every 5 minutes and operates every day from 6.00 a.m. to 24.00. p.m., including Sunday and public holidays. The journey time is just 8 minutes. The Airport Station of the PisaMover is located in front of the port services building, on the border of the area destinated to the City Gate.

By Train

By Car
Pisa is near the intersection of two highways: A12 north-south (Genova - Livorno) and A11 east-west (Pisa - Florence). Alternatives include the SGC FIPILI to Florence, and the ss1 (Via Aurelia) which connects Rome to Genova.

The bus service is operated by CPT (website in Italian, only).
The city also offers efficient car parks served then by city shuttles to the main top sights.
