Several models of strong dynamics beyond the Standard Model have been recently studied by formulating the strong theory on a discretised spacetime. Monte Carlo simulations can provide nonperturbative results from a first principle approach, and shed light on models like walking technicolor, and composite Higgs.
I will summarise recent progress, and identify the limitations and the...

Using lattice QCD and a finite space time volume to set the scale, a family
of renormalized QCD couplings in SF schemes can be traced
non-perturbatively from intermediate to high energies of O(100 GeV),
where perturbation theory is expected to work very well.
I will first discuss the continuum extrapolation
of the lattice data and then assess the quality of
renormalized perturbation...

I will review recent progress in determining the QCD phase diagram from ab initio lattice QCD calculations. In particular, I discuss results on fluctuations and higher-order cumulants at non-zero baryon density, constraints on the location of the critical point, the freeze-out line and the QCD equation of state at finite density.
