Venue
The workshop will take place on the 23th and 24th of February at the Molecular Biotechnology Center (MBC) of the University of Torino, via Nizza 52 - 10126 Torino. The building is not far from the Physics Department, very close to a subway station and at walking distance from the Porta Nuova train station and the town center.
On the 25th the workshop will move to the CNAO National Center of Oncological Hadrontherapy in Pavia, where a guided tour to the facility will be offered at the end of the morning session. A bus transportation will be available for all the partecipants leaving Torino early in the morning and returning in Torino in the afternoon. The travel costs for Pavia are covered by the registration fee. However you're kindly asked to confirm your attendance through the registration page.
***IMPORTANT***
The bus for Pavia will leave on the 25th at 8:15 from the MBC - via Nizza 52 and reach Pavia at about 10:30.
The bus will leave Pavia at 14:00, at the end of the visit, and make a first stop at the Airport of Torino at 16:15, then reach Torino at about 17:00. Those who are interested in booking a flight for saturday evening can benefit of this option.

Travel Information
Torino is easily reached either by plane, train, bus, or car. All the details and updated information on the transportation system, timetables, and fares can be found at Torino Turistica.
Train
Torino has three railway stations, Porta Nuova, Porta Susa and Lingotto. The first two are centrally located, while the third is in the south part of the city. The MBC can be easily reached from Porta Nuova and Porta Susa using the subway, or by foot from Porta Nuova. Detailed instructions can be found here.
The Torino Caselle International Airport, is located at 16 km distance from the center of Torino and is connected to all major european hubs. A bus from SADEM company departing approximately every 30 minutes connects the airport to the Porta Nuova railway station, from 6:10 to 00:30 (timetable here). Cost is 6.50 euro and tickets can be purchased at the airport. Similar (and cheaper) bus service is offered by Terravision (info here, where you can also buy the tickets), please get off at "Torino Esposizioni", 10 min. walk from the workshop. Alternatively you can use a taxi for a price of about 40 euro.
If you are arriving from overseas, you may also consider Milano Malpensa Airport, or Milano Linate Airport, from which Torino can be reached by bus or train. Information can be obtained through the links above. In particular a bus connection from Malpensa Airport to Torino Porta Susa train station is granted from the SADEM company. Alternatively, from Malpensa one can reach the Central Railways Station in Milano (Milano Centrale), from where direct trains to Torino are available from both Trenitalia and Italo services. The Central Railways Station in Milano is also easily reached from the Linate Airport with a bus that stops just at the entrance of the station.

Important
- If you are planning to leave on Saturday evening consider that the bus will be leaving Pavia at about 14:00 and reach Torino approximately at 16:00.
- If you leave from Milano Linate or Milano Malpensa Airports, it is much faster to reach the airport directly from Pavia via bus or train (info here).
