Summary

We describe the development of a veto that is used by the LSC's and Virgo's coalescing binary search groups. The veto is also used as a detector characterization tool by LIGO in the examination of data from the S6 run, and by Virgo in the examination of data from the VSR2 run. The methods of the analysis, results, and implications will be presented.
