Description
In this talk I will discuss a technique for constructing hyperbolic monopoles by dimensional reduction of smooth instantons living on 4-mnaifolds which are non-trivial circle fibrations over hyperbolic 3-space. This technique provides a convenient way of constructing singular hyperbolic monopoles. For smooth monopoles it reproduces the JNR method, but offers new insight about it.
