With the recent discovery of high-energy neutrinos of extra-terrestrial origin by the IceCube neutrino observatory, neutrino-astronomy entered a new era. In this talk I cover a few latest results from searches for a flux of extra-terrestrial neutrinos with special emphasis on the data reduction techniques. Results from searches of point sources and transient sources of neutrinos will also be discussed.
