Description
I would like to propose a simple Lie-algebraic approach to compute momentum-space two-point functions of finite-temperature CFT. For simplicity, in this talk I will focus on one-dimensional CFT at finite temperature dual to the two-dimensional AdS spacetime in the Rindler coordinates. I shall show that conformal symmetry for thermal two-point functions manifests itself in a form of recurrence relations in the complex frequency space. I shall then show that real-time thermal two-point functions (such as retarded, advanced and time-ordered correlators) are all given by solutions to the recurrence relations. I also discuss that these recurrence relations just follow from the intertwining operator properties of CFT two-point functions.
