Description
In this talk I will review the advances in the last two decades in the evaluation of Entanglement Entropy in low dimensional field theories. After having briefly recalled the main features of Conformal Field Theories, I will focus on the computation of Entanglement in 1+1 dimensional systems which enjoy conformal invariance. In particular I will show how to implement the so called 'replica trick' and how the evaluation of Entanglement Entropy is related to the computation of partition functions on particular Riemann Manifolds. I will explain how the Entanglement behaves in unitary theories and I will show how to generalise these results in the non unitary case.
