Description
The DarkSide-50 double phase Time Projection Chamber experiment, operated at LNGS with underground liquid argon target and active shielding, already achieved a background free dark matter search mode in the high mass WIMPs range. In addition, a new result on low mass dark matter direct search, based on ionization signal only, has also set the world best exclusion limit on spin independent interactions of WIMPs in the mass range between 1.8 and 6 GeV/c^2. These results together, open the way towards future multi-ton depleted argon targets exposures with leading sensitivities down to the irreducible neutrino floor, for WIMPs masses from the GeV to the TeV scale. The status and perspectives for the DarkSide-20K project in the frame of the Global Argon Dark Matter Collaboration, will also be presented.
