Description

The presentation will provide an overview of the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency and its role, but will focus on the current and future work of the Committee on Radiological Protection and Public Health (CRPPH). This includes aspects such as RP science, the RP system, emergency and recovery management, occupational exposure, post-accident food management, and legacy management. In particular, the CRPPH is organising a workshop on the Management of Non-Nuclear Waste, hosted by LNL/INFN, which will be presented in detail.
