Description
The Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC), proposed by the Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a Higgs Factory with a goal of 10^6 ZH events. The bias-free sample of Higgs obtained by tagging the recoil Z-boson allows precision measurements of Higgs boson properties significantly beyond what can be attained at the High-Luminosity LHC. In addition, CEPC can produce ~10^10 events at the Z pole for systematics-limited EW precision studies. This talk will discuss the physics program and the project’s status.
