Archiver Appliance to EPICS control systems

Data acquisition and archive system is a crucial task in a environment like experimental facilities, where the whole apparatus is continuously in modification and experimental data changes in type and number. As consequence, the archive system should be flexible in order to easily adapt to the requirement from the experiment and, at the same time, robust and reliable. In EPICS community it is possible to observe an evolution in Archive system products; one of the most recent solution is the Archiver Appliance, a data acquisition and storage system able to manage large numbers of control variables and optimized in data retrieval performance.
