I will present a construction that aims at identifying symmetry-reduced sectors within Loop Quantum Gravity. After a brief overview of the LQG framework, I will outline how symmetric states are defined and how an effective Hamiltonian can be obtained in this sector. I will then discuss how to identify BH states and their effective dynamics, with the aim of exploring possible quantum-gravity corrections to BH signals relevant for gravitational-wave observations.
