Criticality as the origin of scales in particle physics

I shall address the question of the origin, naturality and stability of physical scales in particle physics. I shall present a simple class of classically scale invariant scalar models  in which the symmetry breaking occurs radiatively. I demonstrate that in the region of the parameter space close to the critical line the properties of the model are unexpectedly interesting. I demonstrate how huge hierarchies can be generated while the model remains natural and stable.
