WP Coordinators Meeting
1) Paolo Falferi received MSA amplifier with postamplifiers electronics and cables. These will be distributed to Pisa and Camerino to start the test
2) We have to define the cabling for the thermalization of the squid. Probably one of the RF connector connected to a copper coax cable is enough.
3) The characterization in noise and gain in a range of differente temperatures from mK to 4 K is expected in fall (4 K in Trento, mK in Pisa, <4K in Camerino)
4) Other tests for signal multiplexing and frequency tuning with the varactor diode will follow.
5) For the stability test we need either a BAW with higher mode around 100 MHz or a lumped or stub resonator. BAW would be simpler. We should ask to MiB where to buy.
6) For digitization, Luigi Calligaris propose a scheme with ADC boards + FPGA. He will provide more details.
7) It would be useful to have a cryogenic isolator/circulator to decouple the cavity from the amplifier, a noise source for calibration, and couplers for ancillary rf lines. This is actually a task of WP3.
8) Concerning the magnetic field, the solution of having a region of the cryostat in the almost zero field region in the hole of the end-caps seems feasible. This means that we will have to worry of a stray field of at most few hundred Gauss.
9) I created an area in Drive to share documents: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1BEXHyRnqVCHrR5f23-yWH-xrhgOQsboG?usp=drive_link
