Travel Information

Meeting transportation

You can reach the ECLOUD2018 Workshop venue in the following ways:

• By plane to Pisa or Roma airports, and then using the meeting buses leaving only from Roma Fiumicino - Leonardo da Vinci airport (FCO).
• By train to Piombino Marittima, ferry-boat to Portoferraio. A  shuttle bus will be available upon request to connect the workshop site and Portoferraio harbour.
• By car to Piombino, ferry-boat to Portoferraio, a short drive to La Biodola (10km). Since parking is limited at the Hotel Hermitage, we encourage participants to use the meeting buses as much as possible. 

ECLOUD2018 Workshop shuttle bus will connect the conference venue to Roma Airport - "Leonardo da Vinci" (FCO - Fiumicino) on the dates of start and end of the workshop. Below you can find the final schedule:

Sunday, June 3^rd: destination Hotel Hermitage

• from Roma airport "Leonardo Da Vinci - FCO" at 11:00
  NEW Meeting point @ Terminal 1 - arrival level, in front of Bakery Cafe.

There will be somebody of the Local Organizing Committee waiting for you at the meeting point about one hour before the shuttle bus departure.

Thursday, June 7^th: origin Hotel Hermitage

• to Roma airport "Leonardo Da Vinci - FCO" at 7:00 (expected arrival at 13:00). We strongly suggest to DO NOT take a flight leaving before 14:30.
