6th International Workshop on Quantum Chromodynamics - Theory and Experiment
 

The sixth edition of QCD@Work, International Workshop on QCD, theoretical and experimental,  will be held in Lecce (Italy), from 18th to 21st June 2012. The aim is to bring together theorists and experimentalists putting QCD to work in a variety of different arenas for a common discussion.

This edition of the workshop is jointly organized by the Physics Departments of Lecce and Bari Universities, and by Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN) with its Sections of Lecce and Bari. It will be held in the conference hall of the Rettorato of Università del Salento, in the ancient Monastero dei Carmelitani (Piazzetta Tancredi n.7) .

Because of limitations in accomodation and to fulfill the workshop requirements, attendance is limited to about 80 participants.

The deadline for registration is May 15th, 2012. Participants are invited to contribute to the Workshop, submitting a title and an abstract before May 1st, 2012, using the registration form. The workshop organization will notify before May 10th if the abstract has been accepted as a contributed talk. It is also possible to contribute to the poster session. Invited and contributed talks, as well as posters, will be published in the Proceedings of the Workshop.

Fee:

As in the previous editions the conference fee is 250 euro, and it includes proceedings costs, coffee breaks and social events. The details concerning the payment of the workshop fee will be sent with the Bulletin n.1.

The Workhop will start on Monday 18th at 9.00 am and will end on  Thursday 21st, in the early afternoon.
