Conference Transportation

We have organized three conference buses, connecting, free of charge, Geneva (CERN and Cointrin Airport ) and Milano (Malpensa Airport ) to the conference venue.

Bus rides between the Planibel Hotel at La Thuile and Geneva or Malpensa airports take about 2h30'. The bus schedule is as follows:

Upon arrival Sunday, March 1

• 11:00 1st bus departure from Milano Malpensa
• 14:00 2nd bus departure from Milano Malpensa

The meeting point is in front of a café located between the two exits of Terminal 1. In this area you will find a conference poster and you will meet a conference staff member one hour before bus departure (i.e. 10:00 am for the bus leaving at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm for the bus leaving at 2:00 pm).

• 13.30 Bus departure from CERN to Geneva Airport (The meeting point at CERN is at the PIO Visitors car park, close to the COOP Cafeteria in the Main Building)
  

• 14:00 Bus continuation from Geneva Airport to La Thuile (The meeting point at Geneva airport is at the Arrivals gate)
  

Upon departure Saturday, March 7

• 13.30 Bus departure from the Planibel Hotel to Geneva Airport and to CERN
• 13.30 Bus departure from the Planibel Hotel Planibel to Milano Malpensa airport
