How to reach Pisa
By Air
Pisa Airport "Galileo Galilei" is the main destination in Tuscany and in central Italy (after Rome). Served by several airlines that operate hundred of weekly flights to national and international destinations, the airport is developing as one of the busiest in Italy thanks also to numerous companies offering a low cost alternative.

The main services is operated by the partnership of Lazzi-CPT operating services to Florence, Lucca, Prato, Pistoia, Massa Carrara, Volterra, Livorno and many others.
By Car
Pisa is near the intersection of two highways: A12 north-south (Sestri Levante - Livorno) and A11 east-west (Pisa - Florence). Alternatives include the ss67 to Florence, and the ss1 (Via Aurelia) which connect Rome to La Spezia.
Parking in the city is normally rather expensive, depending on the area, with advance payment through automatic machines required in most zones. There is a free parking area at 20 min from the workshop venue in “Via Paparelli”
This parking is not usable on Wednesday and Saturday mornings because of a local market taking place.
How to move around Pisa
By Bus
The bus service is operated by CPT (in Italian only). The main routes are called LAM (high mobility line); LAMrossa (red) line connects the airport and the train station to the city centre and the Cathedral. Tickets can be bought at tobacconists (1.20 Euro single ticket, less if you buy a 4-ticket or 10-ticket carnet), or on the bus (slightly more expensive, 2.00 Euro). If you plan to use the bus a lot you can buy a day travel card (3,70 Euro at tobacconists).
The city also offers efficient car parks served then by city shuttles to the main top sights.
By Bike
In Pisa is available a bike sharing service called CicloPi. Bike racks are located around town and a daily pass is 5€.
By Walk
The town center of Pisa is small enough to be walked. Main locations are less than 30 min walk from the main train station.
