The 12th International Conference on Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions (NN2015) will be held from June 21th through June 26th, 2015 in Catania, Italy.
CONFERENCE HOST AND VENUE
The INFN - Laboratori Nazionali del Sud, INFN - Catania and Dipartimento di Fisica e Astronomia of the University of Catania will be the hosts of NN2015. The details about the conference venue, accommodation, etc. will be given in the forthcoming circulars.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
NN2015 will maintain the general spirit and intention of this conference series. The scientific subjects to be discussed at the Conference will cover a wide spectrum of topics and will include a significant emphasis on applied aspects. The Conference will consist of plenary, parallel and poster sessions. In the plenary and parallel sessions there will be 30~45 invited talks and selected oral contributions. Remaining contributions will be presented and discussed in the poster sessions. The invited talks for the plenary sessions will be determined following IAC recommendations, and oral presentations at parallel sessions will be selected from the submitted abstracts.
The Scientific Program will be structured around the following topics:
-Nucleus-nucleus collisions
-Nuclear structure - high-spin physics, unstable nuclei
-Clusters in nuclei, nuclear fragmentation & liquid-gas phase transitions
-Fusion and fission dynamics and super-heavy elements
-QCD, hadrons & EOS of nuclear matter
-Relativistic heavy ion collisions
-Nuclear astrophysics
-Accelerator facilities & nuclear detectors
-Nuclear energy & nuclear applications
Conference Language:
The conference language is English. All presentations including discussions and submitted materials must be in English. Facilities Electronic projectors with computers capable of reading CDs and memory devices will be available (Power Point or Adobe Acrobat recommended). If you have special requirements, please inform us in the Registration Form.
Registration

Limited funds are available to reduce the registration fees for some participants from abroad especially young physicists who otherwise could not participate in the conference. To receive a registration fee subsidy, please fill out the application that will be available in the registration form.
Social Activities and Excursion
A Welcome reception followed will be held in the evening of June 21, 2015. The Conference Banquet will begin at 8:00pm on June 24, 2015 An excursion will be arranged on June 24, 2015 – To be determined.
