Description
The Borexino detector is taking data since the year 2007 and he has detected
a large fraction of the whole solar neutrino spectrum. In particular recently
the first real time detection of pp neutrinos has been reported.
I will give an overview of the current status about solar neutrino detection
and in particular I will describe the Borexino results.
The implication about solar astrophysics and neutrino physics will be
discussed.
In addition the detection of anti-neutrino from the Earth will be discussed.
I will conclude sketching the perspectives of the next coming year about the
search for sterile neutrinos in Borexino.
