Challenges of Low Emittance Rings

This talk will review the challanges facing the lepton storage rings aiming at ultra low emittance, including light source storage rings, linear collider damping rings and future e+/e‐ circular collider projects. All the issues of lattice design and optimization, experimental measurements, collective effects and technical systems will be described.
