Villa Lysis
Villa Lysis, also known as Villa Fersen, is a detached residence in a wonderful garden surrounded
by climbing plants and cypresses, not far from the ruins of Villa Jovis, and with a great panorama.
The walk to Villa Lysis takes about three quarters of an hour (about 2km) uphill, so comfortable
shoes are advised.

Monte Solaro Cableway
An impressive limestone formation and the highest point on Capri (1,932 feet), Monte Solaro
affords gasp-inducing views toward the bays of Naples and Salerno. A 12-minute chairlift ride will
take you right to the top, which is a starting point for a number of scenic trails on the western side
of the island, most particularly down the slope to the lovely area around Santa Maria a Cetrella.
