Description
I will discuss some recent progress in three topics at the border between quantum vacuum and gravitation, more specifically the observation of systematic effects in the calibration of Casimir force experiments crucial in the search for short-range components of the gravitational interaction, observable effects of the Higgs field in astrophysics and experimental gravitation, and some implications of a unification scenario between gravity and the weak interactions.
