The research activity of the "Physique à Haute Intensité" team at the Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives (FRANCE), concerns the physics of laser-matter interaction at relativistic intensities. Our main fields of interest are protons and electrons acceleration as well as higher order harmonics generation. Our experimental activity is carried out, to a large extent, on the laser facilities of the Research Center in Saclay, partner of the Laserlab-Europe network since 2003. I will present the main results of our recent activity, the ongoing projects and the research perspectives offered by the UHI100 laser our group has at its disposal (100 TW, 10 Hz, 25fs, Imax> = 10E20 W / cm2), paying special attention to the laser-driven ion acceleration issue.
