Description
Physical Review Letters is one of the most prestigious journals in physics. We enjoy a healthy growth in submissions and are currently celebrating our 50th anniversary. The inner workings of PRL are however sometimes a bit mysterious to the authors and referees that make the journal what it is. In this presentation, I will be talking about the state of the journal, some aspects of the review process, and some new developments at PRL in view of the changing publication landscape, points which I hope will lead to a stimulating question and answer session afterwards.
