Transversity 2027 is the 8th International Workshop on “Transverse phenomena in hard processes and the transverse structure of the proton”, following the successful editions held in 2005 in Como, 2008 in Ferrara, 2011 in Trieste/Lošinj, 2014 in Cagliari, 2017 in Frascati, 2022 in Pavia, and 2024 in Trieste.
The scientific program will be devoted to critical reviews of the latest experimental and theoretical results in the field of transversity, transverse-momentum dependent distribution and fragmentation functions, and generalised parton distribution functions. Future research directions, both in theory and experiment, will also be discussed.
This workshop series aims to gather theorists and experimentalists deeply involved in the field in a friendly environment, where to discuss the most relevant topics and consolidate collaborations. To this end, the talks will include reviews as well as specific contributions, leaving adequate time for discussions and round tables. The participation of young researchers interested in the field is also very welcome.
