The First International Workshop on Space Radiography (IWSRX 2026) is a focused meeting dedicated to the emerging role of X-ray imaging in human spaceflight. This workshop will bring together researchers and professionals from medical physics, space medicine, and radiological technology.

The workshop aims to create discussion and collaboration on the challenges and opportunities of implementing X-ray imaging in space. Key topics include astronaut health monitoring (e.g. bone densitometry, dental imaging, skeletal injuries), emergency diagnostics in space environments, and the development of portable, low-dose radiographic systems suitable for mission constraints.
