DESCRIPTION:The Catania Unit of Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INF
 N)\,  and the Physics and Astronomy Department (DFA) of the University of
  Catania\, are pleased to announce the organization of the topical worksho
 p on Nuclear\, Hadronic and High-Temperature QCD Physics in High Energy Co
 llisions. The meeting will be held at the DFA of Catania on May 11 and 12
 \, 2026. \nThe workshop has an informal character and aims at stimulating
  new ideas along the core business of high temperature QCD investigations 
 at the Large Hadron Collider\, specifically towards interdisciplinary aspe
 ct of nuclear and hadronic physics.\nThe workshop will cover interdiscipli
 nary topics\, including:\n- Nuclear phenomena in ultra-peripheral collisio
 ns at LHC and RHIC energies\n- Transmutation\n- Neutron skin thickness and
  its impact of symmetry energy and neutron stars\n- Femtoscopy and resonan
 ce decays\n- Mechanisms of composite particle production\n- Properties of 
 the QCD medium\nThe scientific sessions will consist of invited oral prese
 ntations\, followed by open discussions on possible new ideas in view of t
 he future perspectives offered by the ALICE3 apparatus at CERN-LHC.\n\nhtt
