DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Krzysztof Mekala (University of Warsaw)\n\nAmong pro
posed future projects for particle physics\, the Muon Collider has recentl
y attracted significant attention. By combining features of both electron
–positron and hadron machines\, it offers a potentially powerful environ
ment for exploring high-energy interactions. While technological challenge
s remain\, recent studies suggest none are fundamentally prohibitive\, mot
ivating continued research in this direction.\nIn this talk\, I will brief
ly introduce the Muon Collider in the context of the Update of the Europea
n Strategy for Particle Physics and outline the physics opportunities it c
ould offer. I will focus in particular on studies of electroweak interacti
ons at previously unexplored energy scales. After discussing the role of v
ector boson fusion in this regime\, I will review the ideas of the colline
ar approximation and electroweak factorisation. Finally\, I will present t
he emerging framework of Electroweak Parton Distribution Functions and dis
 cuss their relevance for describing high-energy processes.\n \n \n \n
