Previous week recap (by person) — week of this meeting
Davide F.
- O₂ and H₂O sensor procurement remained blocked: vendors promised required documents, but no feedback received yet.
- Requested a quote for the new HV cable from an Italian supplier.
- PRA update with NIER stalled; planned to re-ping due to no feedback.
- Planned a 3-day Frascati trip starting tomorrow to mount the first GEM stack (if remaining issues are solved).
- Awaited LNGS crane-team feedback (via Cesidio) to clarify the copper-box movement procedure.
- Continued reviewing Antonio’s copper-box work-in-progress.
- Trigger-module test bench slipped and was postponed to next week.
- Performed Hall F routing inspection with technicians and LNGS services; follow-up organization pending.
Giorgio
- No major analysis update; minor digitization updates from Igor.
- Met with Edward Shields and Federico to explore improvements for diffusion deconvolution.
- GEM premounting looked acceptable even with bent bandelle; final confirmation pending full mounting.
- Identified field-cage foil issue (missing securing holes) and scheduled triage for tomorrow.
- Confirmed GEMs repaired and ready; transport back still pending with Luigi.
- Continued replying to reviewer comments on the field-cage paper (with Alex).
Stefano
- Received no reply from both contacts regarding the Rb-83 source.
- DAQ meeting held: discussed N₂ gas-tightness tests and operating overpressure (~3 ± 2 mbar).
- New DAQ validated in a long MANGO data-taking run; performance OK so far.

Weekly Summary
GEM stacks and assembly
- The first GEM stack was successfully assembled at LNF, but an alignment issue was found between the inner and the external frames.
- The agreed fix is to slot all external-frame holes by 2 mm per side on both GEM stacks.
- Tecnoalarm will machine the modified parts, and Daniele will provide updated drawings by 23/03.
GEMs and cathodes from CERN
- GEM3 showed critical issues: the v-bond created some short-circuited protection resistors.
- CERN confirmed that new GEMs for the second stack will be shipped soon.
- CERN is also remaking the cathodes; the team is ready to contribute 400 CHF, provided all edges/tips are rounded for safe 50 kV operation.
Copper box movement in Hall F
- A Hall F inspection confirmed that the copper box can be transported already assembled into the experimental area.
- The current plan uses a remote-controlled crane + mobile air cushion, with an estimated cost of about 5 k€.
- DavideF must verify with SPP and LNGS Technical Coordination whether temporary removal of corridor wall sheets is allowed and what documentation is required.
Copper drawings
- A way was found to unblock the copper drawing workflow after the stall.
Field cage, setup, and infrastructure
- For the field cage, missing closure holes may be added using a dedicated punching tool designed by Daniele.
- Work progressed on the pre-commissioning infrastructure, though some 30x30 Bosch aluminum profiles are still missing.
Other follow-up items
- A broader Hall F inspection with the full team should be organized later, though it is not urgent.
- DavideF still has to check HV cable compatibility in Hall F and discuss a possible thin PMT window solution with Giorgio.
- The team should also check whether the second GEM shipment can use an already planned CERN transport on 01/04.

Analysis
- Main news is from Luan who will optimize digitization for quest high gain and low gain and fusion and has implemented Atul's variables to test ER/NR discrimination.
- Analysis meeting on Thursday (presentation from Luan expected)
LNF
