DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Yury Cherepennikov\n\nBased on own experience\, this
  seminar presents a summary of research activities conducted by the author
  within International collaborations since 2012 in the field of applied X-
 ray optics and imaging\, followed by the discussion on prospective researc
 h directions at LNF.\nThe presentation addresses the development of compac
 t accelerator-based X-ray sources and advanced X-ray optical systems\, suc
 h as adaptive crystal monochromators controlled by external stimuli and po
 lycapillary optics for the generation of high-intensity monochromatic radi
 ation. Their implementation in applied X-ray imaging and analytical techni
 ques for industrial applications is discussed.\nParticular attention is gi
 ven to the use of polycapillary optics in advanced imaging systems and to 
 the integration of 3D printing technologies for the fabrication of customi
 zed components for radiation imaging and radiation therapy setups.\n\nhttp
