Mathematical and Foundational Aspects in the Modelling of Complex Systems. Second Edition
Aim of the Workshp:
The study of complex systems, due to the numerous and different relationships among their elementary components, is possible through various techniques that allow for non-unique mathematical modeling. Therefore, an interdisciplinary approach is required that allows studying the system from multiple perspectives using different, yet synchronous, mathematical tools.
Specialized conferences are held, in which each researcher presents their findings to a community of scholars who share languages, methods, and disciplinary prerequisites.
The specific aim of the Arcidosso workshop is to bring together speakers from various mathematical disciplines who will present important topics from an interdisciplinary perspective in a way that is accessible to every mathematician.
This allows the development of broad-ranging discussions and insights into mathematical thinking in a convivial environment.
