Round of the table updates
11:10 - 11:30
ALCOR - ALCOR64: mounting at ARTEL ongoing - Chiara: simulations done to use the shutter to cleanly close the orbit avoiding having edges in two different frames and coarse counter properly updated ( RDO: in preparation radiation test with scrubbing ) FADE: - Francesca: no big updates still working on DAM code - Matilda: reconstructed clock using FADE. Phase/jitter measurement will be moved to RDO + KC705 Algoritmi su DAM: - Cristian is working on inclusion of time information + off-topic: - test su campo magnetico di PDU v3

11:40 - 12:10
The aim of this presentation is to clarify which are the requirements for time calibration of the dRICH (both for TAC of the ALCOR ASIC and for general time alignments). (see slides) - discussion about calibration constants needed by ALCOR TDC (fine) --> 2 parameters for TDC (256 constants for an ALCOR64). Note using fixed values (A=0.05 B=0.0155) this would produce a sigma=160 ps. This is ALCOR internal calibration - then we have absolute timing calibration keeping in mind the different delays at play (global alignment) --> offset --> (150-250 ps ballpark?) --> if this would be the case we might not need this calibration online? - the global alignments (offset) might depend on conditions (threshold, voltages) - the two calibrations are, however, indipendent - the other big effect is cross-talk which can generate larger signals that can come even 700 ps before! (also depending on local conditions)
