DESCRIPTION:The International School "Francesco Romano" on Nuclear\, Subnu
 clear and Astroparticle Physics is targeted particularly at young postdocs
  and PhD students working in experimental High Energy Physics and phenomen
 ology.\nAccording to its tradition\, besides lectures in high energy theor
 etical and experimental Physics applicative topics will be covered. \nOne
  of the main purposes of the school is to stimulate the interactions betwe
 en the young attendants and the lecturers. \nIn the 2026 edition\,  lect
 ures will cover the following topics: \n\nUnsolved Problems in Particle P
 hysics (Michelangelo Mangano - CERN)\nExperimental Perspectives at High Lu
 minosity LHC (Luca Malgeri - CERN)\nThe Cosmic Microwave Background (Marti
 na Gerbino - INFN\, Ferrara)\nThe Era of Gravitational Waves (Elisa Maggio
  - INFN\, Roma1)\nAI in Physics (Daniele Bonacorsi - University of Bologna
 )\nNew Technologies in Hadrontherapy (Marco Durante - GSI\, Darmstadt)\n\n
  \nThe lecture series will be complemented by two shorter seminars:\n\nEt
 hical Issues in Research\nTabletop Experiment in Physics\n\n \nThe School
  will include a session where participants may choose to give a short pres
 entation of their work. A prize will be awarded for the best presentation.
  \nThe School will be held at the Porto Giardino resort in Monopoli\, nea
 r Bari. As part of the School\, a public event aimed at Science Outreach
