DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Domenico Logoteta (Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucl
 eare)\n\nAbstract:  I will review the derivation of a microscopic equatio
 n of state of nucleonic and hadronic matter based on modern nuclear intera
 ctions\, in a range of density and temperature of interest for various as
 trophysical systems like neutron stars\, supernova explosions and binary 
 neutron star mergers. I will discuss some open problems about these issue
 s like the formation of hyperons or a possible deconfinement phase transi
 tion to quark matter. I will finally explain how future observations may 
 help to understand the behaviour of matter under extreme conditions of de
 nsity and temperature.\nAbout the Speaker: Domenico Logoteta is a researc
 her at the University of Pisa and INFN\, specializing in the theoretical m
 odeling of dense nuclear matter and its astrophysical applications. His re
 search utilizes ab initio methods and realistic many-body interactions to 
 derive the nuclear equation of state from a fundamental microscopic level.
  He is a prominent expert on the role of hyperons and quark deconfinement\
 , investigating how these exotic components influence the internal structu
 re and stability of compact objects. His work plays a critical role in int
 erpreting gravitational wave signals and electromagnetic data from binary 
 neutron star mergers within the framework of multimessenger astronomy. By 
 bridging nuclear physics and general relativity\, he explores the extreme 
 conditions of the universe to determine the maximum mass and radius of neu
