Description
Extraction of 𝛼s and non-perturbative effects from Energy-Energy Correlator dataĀ
The study of hadronic final states in high-energy collisions offers a powerful framework to test Quantum Chromodynamics with high precision, and in recent years the Energy–Energy Correlation (EEC) in electron–positron annihilation has emerged as a particularly insightful observable.  In this talk, I will focus on the back-to-back region, where we perform an all-order resummation of logarithmically enhanced contributions in QCD perturbation theory, reaching next-to-next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic (N3LL) accuracy. Away from the back-to-back limit, we consistently match the resummed predictions to the fixed-order results up to next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO). By employing these theoretical tools, we extract the strong coupling and quantify nonperturbative effects, such as the Collins–Soper kernel, through a global analysis of all available datasets.
