DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Giulia Tuci (Heidelberg University)\n\nMeasurement o
f CP asymmetry in D0→K0SK0S decays with the upgraded LHCb detector \nTh
e study of CP violation in charm mesons provides a complementary probe for
possible interactions beyond the Standard Model with respect to beauty me
sons\, and allows the exploration of even higher energy scales. The LHCb e
xperiment collected the largest sample of charm hadrons ever\, order of bi
llions of decays\, and reported the first observation of CP violation in D
 0→K+K- and D0→ π + π  π - decays in 2019\, marking a milestone in
flavour physics.  However\, the compatibility of the observation with th
e Standard Model is still debated\, and providing complementary experiment
al results is a crucial step towards clarifying the physics picture. In th
is seminar\, a new measurement of the time-integrated CP asymmetry in the
decay D0->KsKs will be presented. The analysis has been performed using da
ta collected by the LHCb experiment in 2024. The analysis is based on data
collected by the LHCb experiment in 2024\, using the upgraded detector wi
th improved tracking\, vertex resolution\, and a software-based trigger sy
stem. Thanks to these improvements\, unprecedented precision in charm phys
ics can now be achieved.\n \n\nhttps://agenda.infn.it/event/49345/
