Lutyens’ Crypt in Liverpool is a vast, atmospheric space beneath the Metropolitan Cathedral, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens as part of his grand, never-completed cathedral. Built in the 1930s, it features monumental brick vaults and is one of the largest cathedral crypts in Europe.
How to get there
The crypt is just a short 7 min walk from the symposium venue at The Spine.

The entrance to the Crypt is at the back of the Metropolitan Cathedral.
