DESCRIPTION:Abstract:\nCERN Technology department is a unique and amazing 
 European tool for High-Energy Physics since it serves a wide community and
  is anticipating and creating all technological breakthroughs which are ne
 eded for the purpose of the post HL-LHC Physic program. Through the years\
 , these technologies\, pushed forward by the wish to better understand our
  universe\, have been pre-industrialised at CERN in close collaboration wi
 th industry and Institutes of the CERN Associates and Member States\, serv
 ing as well the other large scientific infrastructures and transpiring int
 o society with daily applications. The special case of the High Luminosity
  LHC (HL-LHC) will be introduced as a good example of technology demonstra
 tor which opens the path to the next post-LHC accelerator project(s). And 
 question whether\, in this occasion\, Society may be benefiting from these
