On Wednesday, September 24th, starting at noon, we will visit the Teide Observatory, one of the leading astronomical sites in Europe. The observatory is located over 2000 meters above sea level in a spectacular setting within the Teide National Park. We hope you will enjoy the scientific and cultural visit.
Additionally, we will have a cultural tour of the historic center of La Laguna, a UNESCO World Heritage site, completely free of charge on Thursday, 25th, at 6:15 PM. Participants can register through the form (accompanying persons are allowed with registration).
Although September weather in the Canary Islands is usually very pleasant, we recommend bringing sunscreen and a light jacket. These will also come in handy for events like the excursion to the Teide Observatory.
