Description
We will present a coarse-grained model of DNA that reproduces basic structural, mechanical and thermodynamical properties of single stranded and double stranded DNA. The model is designed to provide an efficient simulation tool for DNA nanotechnology as well as single molecule experiments. We will give a basic overview of the model and give examples of some of its applications. In particular, we will present the simulation study of DNA motor, toehold displacement process for DNA computation and the study of assembly of lattices composed of DNA tiles.
